Die Arktis weigert sich zu schmelzen, Alarmrufe beruhen auf vorläufigen Daten!
Wer wirklich wissen will, wie es ums Klima steht, dem sei geraten,
sowohl empirische Fakten als auch sensationelle Medienberichte sehr
kritisch unter die Lupe zu nehmen: Vor wenigen Wochen, schwirrten jede Menge Vorhersagen über den drohenden arktischen Eisverlust über Medien und Internet. Einige Klimakastrophenforscher sagten voraus, daß der ?Nordpol für´s erste Mal dieser Sommer eisfrei sein könnte ?. Andere sagten voraus, daß die gesamte ?polare Eiskappe dieser Sommer verschwinden würde?. Die arktische Schmelzjahreszeit ist für dieses Jahr fast zu Ende. Die Sonne steht jetzt sehr niedrig über dem Horizont und wird Ihr Scheinen über den Winter am Nordpol in fünf Wochen ganz einstellen. Und keine dieser entsetzlichen Vorhersagen sind eingetroffen. Und nun geschieht etwas etwas Merkwürdiges mit den Eisdaten.

Abstract The atmospheric greenhouse effect, an idea the authors trace back to the traditional works of Fourier 1824, Tyndall 1861 and Arrhenius 1896, but which is still supported in global climatology, essentially describes a fictitious mechanism by which a planetary atmosphere acts as a heat pump driven by an environment that is radiatively interacting with but radiatively equilibrated to the atmospheric system.
